Admission to LaCima is regulated and takes place through official calls.
Admission to the laboratory is governed by our internal rules. Students in semesters I to IV complete a basic preparation in Python, R and research fundamentals lasting at most one month. Students from the fifth semester onwards take a placement test or a technical interview with the co-coordinator. Professors and external collaborators are evaluated in a meeting by the coordinator and the co-coordinator.

Semesters I to IV
Basic preparation
Students in the early semesters follow an introductory preparation in Python, R and research fundamentals, lasting at most one month, mentored by lab members.

Semester V onwards
Placement test or technical interview
Students from the fifth semester onwards take a placement test or a technical interview with the co-coordinator, depending on their prior experience in programming and data analysis.

Professors and externals
Evaluation by the coordination
Professors and external collaborators are evaluated in a meeting by the coordinator and the co-coordinator, considering their track record and their contribution to the lab's lines.
