Tenured professor at the School of Statistical and Computer Engineering, Universidad Nacional del Altiplano. REGINA (CONCYTEC) registered researcher and first General Director of Research at the UNAP Vice-Rectorate for Research. He coordinates LaCima and represents the laboratory before institutional bodies.

Ing. Fred Torres Cruz
Statistical and Computer Engineer, MSc in Systems Engineering and professor at FINESI. RENACYT researcher affiliated with the Computer Science Research Institute. Driving force and operations lead of LaCima, he leads internal training and acts as the link between students and the coordination.
